The Anak Atelier Early Learning Center in Bali believes that by learning from our past, it allows our children to gain a better understanding of the present. Supporting our young learners to embrace the knowledge and understanding that they actively construct from today, creates a vehicle that allows them to build a better and more sustainable tomorrow. This belief is the heartstring of our school’s identity, where the past acts as a precursor to shaping the present, evident in our architecture, our pedagogy (through understanding the developmental theories from the past and current early childhood education principles), our educational practice, and our actions as a school with our children as active participants of their future.
